Errand Boy

is Bryan Melanson, a boyish man in his mid-20's based out

of Montreal, Quebec, who keeps himself entertained by recording

stitched-together mini pop epics with his laptop and a poorly tuned guitar.

With whatever musical instrument is available, from piano, to drums,

to broken branches, to accordion, processed loops and re-wired keyboards,

Bryan creates songs with the raggedness and lo-fi spirit of

garage rock cassette tapes, but with a sweeping emotional range and

inherent vulnerability. Relying on word-of-mouth and

free digital releases instead of physical copies and promotion,

Errand Boy has garnered an underground cult following over

five years of recordings and sporadic performances which have

evolved to feature a self-produced video project featured in several art galleries.
